I found some wonderful words from The Impressionist - Hari Kunzru.

Library Loot Post
I borrowed two books The Cuckoo's Calling - Robert Galbraith and Alys Always - Harriet Lane from the library for our book group meet in September.  I am note taking so I can remember them both for the get together.  I was also given An Officer and a Spy - Robert Harris on holiday by a very kind fellow Eriba caravan owner who was departing and did not want to donate the book to the camp-site library.

Overview
July was a productive month in books and it was nice to pay the blog some attention after my busy time earlier this year.  I read 3 books but did not review them.  My main aim is to play catch up on my various TBR's (tree books and e-books).  It was a pleasure to be able to feature two lovely ladies on my blog this month.  The equally wonderful Lynda Renham and Nicky Wells.  Nicky added to her post with a fantastic SWAG give-away which is still running so do enter to have a chance at winning.  I managed to find time to contribute to the Wondrous Words Wednesday meme (hosted by Kathy over at Bermudaonion's Weblog) and make 3 poetry posts which as you know is a new feature on the blog this year.

Plans for August
I am currently reading Alys Always by Harriet Lane for book group.  What comes up next will be drawn from the book jar and I have completely forgotten what is in there.  I aim to make some poetry posts although I missed it yesterday.  My excuse, I got back from France on Thursday evening.  I will try and contribute to the WWW meme if I find some fab words to add.  I have 4 books waiting to be added to a give-away sometime in the future, I cannot guarantee that this will be during August.  Watch this space to see what happen here in August!

I hope you had a good month in books!
