It's a Wrap - End of Month Round Up

Well!  I have upped the ante this month with reviews, and a new weekly feature 'Poetry Corner'.  After reading the tome Parade's End I needed some light relief.  On a suggestion from the teen and following a post I read about using a book jar, I started one myself.  I used it to select this month's reads, apart from the book group selection.  I have read chick-lit, YA paranormal, and historical fiction this month.  Here is my round up for April.

Poetry Feature
Little Red Cap from The World's Wife by Carol Ann Duffy

I received one book in my home this month from the library The Distance Between Us by Maggie O' Farrell.  I forgot to post about my one and only incoming book.  I made four contributions to the Wondrous Words Wednesday meme and I hosted an Easter give-away following up on the blogoversary give-away I hosted the previous month.  As mentioned above I introduced a new feature which I am hoping to continue on a weekly basis on a Friday, Poetry Corner, where I share a favourite or newly discovered poem.

I am currently reading Started early, Took My dog by Kate Atkinson and I will be reading The Distance Between Us by Maggie O' Farrell for book group.  I will be hosting another give-away in May and probably in the following couple of months.  Other reading choices will be made from the book jar.

Did you have a productive April?
