Wondrous Words Wednesday

confuted - verb. to prove (a person or thing) to be in error.

coruscating - verb. to sparkle, to shine.
"a great glass chandelier from the rectory hung dimly coruscating in the centre."

pawky - adj. drily humorous.
"if Mrs M hadn't the pawky, relishing humour."

prink - verb. 1. to make (oneself) smart.  2. (of a bird) to preen.  3. to walk daintily.
"she wasn't going to prink herself for him."
